Face Foundrié, a national facial bar chain, plans to open a studio at LaCenterra at Cinco Ranch in Katy.
The franchise will take over approximately 1,600 square feet at 2717 Commercial Center Blvd., Suite E170, My Neighborhood News first reported. The space is occupied by Amerejuve MedSpa. It is unclear whether Amerejuve plans to relocate or close.
A filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) shows a $150,000 renovation scheduled to begin Wednesday, Nov. 18, with a target completion date of Thursday, Feb. 18, 2027, according to My Neighborhood News. The work includes new interior partition walls, finishes and mechanical, plumbing and electrical upgrades.
The Feb. 18 date marks the end of construction, not a confirmed grand opening. Face Foundrié does list the Katy location as "coming soon" on its website.
Michele Henry, the company's founder and CEO, started Face Foundrié in 2019 in Edina, Minnesota. In an Oct. 22, 2025, interview with Franchise Chatter, Henry said the concept grew from personal experience: "I found the skincare industry overwhelming, and not the most accommodating. There was nothing out there where I could go to have a same day service that was price appropriate …"
The chain's signature facials run about 40 minutes, with a 20-minute mini option. Services also include brow shaping, lash lifts, waxing and skincare products. Monthly memberships are available.
Face Foundrié has grown to more than 80 locations nationwide, according to the company's website. FranchiseWire reported the brand was named to Entrepreneur magazine's list of top emerging franchises in 2025 and expects at least 100 units open by the end of 2026.
In the Houston area, the chain operates studios in Houston, Sugar Land and Pearland, with additional locations listed as coming soon in Houston Heights and Friendswood. The Katy studio would be its first in the Cinco Ranch area.
LaCenterra has continued adding service and dining tenants. Other recently announced additions include Hudson House and PopUp Bagels. The center's current lineup includes Athleta, Buff City Soap, Elements Massage, CycleBar and CAVA.
Construction is set to begin Nov. 18. No official opening date has been announced.
