A new boutique featuring local makers and artisan goods opens Saturday, Oct. 24, at Villagio Town Center in Cinco Ranch.
The Shoppes at Juniper Lane, owned by Christi and Jim Brzezicki, will hold a grand opening Oct. 24-25 at the Westheimer Parkway shopping center, Community Impact first reported. The shop will give local makers a retail space to sell home décor, gifts, apparel, jewelry, candles, handmade pieces and seasonal items, Christi Brzezicki told Community Impact.
For Cinco Ranch shoppers, the store adds a new option for locally made goods at a center that already mixes restaurants, retail and professional offices along Westheimer Parkway.
The idea grew out of Christi Brzezicki's side business. She started decorating Christmas trees professionally about five years ago, then expanded into a small staging and redesign business. About a year ago, the couple began discussing opening a business together. They tossed around ideas like an RV park and a washateria before landing on what Christi Brzezicki knows best: decorating.
That path led them to Villagio Town Center. Hunington Properties, the landlord broker for the center, confirmed the lease in a Facebook post. The firm listed the center's address as 22756 Westheimer Pkwy. in Katy. Jonathan Aron and Amir Hamed of Hunington Properties represented the landlord on the transaction.
Hunington Properties said Villagio Town Center still has lease space available, ranging from 880 to 2,600 square feet, for businesses looking for a spot in the Cinco Ranch-area center.
