Boot Barn and Goodwill are headed to the Crossing at Katy Fulshear, according to a construction filing first reported by My Neighborhood News.

The filing identifies a project called "Boot Barn and Goodwill Shell" at 26720 FM 1093 Road in Fulshear, inside the Walmart-anchored shopping center at FM 1093 and FM 1463. The 30,311-square-foot shell building carries an estimated construction cost of $3 million. Work is scheduled to begin Nov. 1, 2026, and wrap up by April 30, 2027.

The two retailers would join a tenant roster that already includes TJ Maxx, Ross Dress for Less, LA Fitness, PetSmart, Ulta Beauty, Dollar Tree and Five Below.

What the filing covers

The permit is for the shell building and related site work. How the 30,311 square feet will be divided between the two tenants has not been disclosed.

Store opening dates have not been announced.

The stores

Boot Barn sells Western and workwear apparel and already operates locations across Greater Houston, including in Katy, Cypress, Sugar Land and Rosenberg. A Fulshear-area store would give shoppers along the FM 1093 corridor another option closer to home.

Goodwill Houston, a nonprofit that funds job training through secondhand retail, operates dozens of stores across the Houston area. The organization has served the region since 1945, according to My Neighborhood News.

The center's growth

Crossing at Katy Fulshear sits at the northeast corner of FM 1093 and FM 1463. Developer Lovett Commercial's property page lists the trade area's average household income at $130,202 and notes that three of the top 10 fastest-growing subdivisions in the country fall within the center's trade area.
