Multi-platinum country group Lonestar will headline the Katy Rice Harvest Festival on Saturday, Oct. 10, in downtown Katy.
The band's "Keeps Getting Better" Tour stop at Historic Town Square marks a major draw for the area's signature fall event. Lonestar takes the main stage at 8 p.m., according to a My Neighborhood News report on the festival lineup. Neal McCoy headlines Sunday at 4:30 p.m. Other performers include Christian Walker, Maverick Murphy and Hayden Haddock.
Lonestar has sold more than 10 million albums since 1995 and scored 10 No. 1 country singles. Their crossover hit "Amazed" spent nine weeks atop the country chart and reached No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100. In 2025, Billboard named the group among the "Top Country Artists of the 21st Century."
"We've had the two biggest touring years of our career," keyboardist Dean Sams said in a Katy Times report. "It feels new again and the fans have just given us a rebirth."
The current lineup features Sams on keyboard, Michael Britt on guitar, Drew Womack on vocals and Keech Rainwater on drums. The tour launched in April at Country Thunder Arizona.
The two-day festival runs Oct. 10-11 at Historic Town Square, 904 Avenue C, in front of Katy City Hall. Saturday hours are 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday hours are noon to 6 p.m. General admission costs $15 per adult each day. Children 12 and younger get in free. Carnival rides require separate tickets.
Expect more than 100 vendor booths, food trucks, a carnival, a beer garden, agricultural exhibits, petting zoos, pony rides, a sports zone and a toddler zone.
The festival is presented by the City of Katy Parks and Recreation Department in partnership with the Rotary Club of Katy. The University of Houston returns as presenting sponsor for the second year, contributing $20,000 annually. All net proceeds go back to the Katy community through scholarships, nonprofits and charities. The Rotary Club awarded $100,000 in scholarships to 16 Katy ISD Class of 2026 graduates at its April 30 banquet, funded in part by festival proceeds.
