Babin's Seafood House is marking 25 years at its Katy Freeway location with a three-course anniversary dinner priced at $25.

The South Louisiana-inspired restaurant announced the promotion in a Tuesday, Sept. 1 news release, according to Community Impact. The deal launched that day at the Katy location, 21851 Katy Freeway, near the Mason Road retail corridor and the Katy Mills and Cinco Ranch shopping areas.

Diners choose one starter, one entrée and one dessert. Starter options are a Caesar salad or chicken and sausage gumbo filé style. Entrée choices include golden tile fish served with dirty rice, blue crab cakes topped with lemon butter crawfish and served with dirty rice and a vegetable kabob, or Bourbon Street pasta with blackened shrimp, crab, crawfish, andouille sausage and fettuccine in a Cajun cream sauce.

Dessert is either beignets dusted in powdered sugar with coffee custard or a traditional bread pudding with raisins, pecans and meringue topping.

A $5 Hurricane cocktail rounds out the celebration.

The restaurant's event page lists the menu as available beginning Tuesday, Sept. 1 but does not specify an end date. Diners should contact the restaurant to confirm availability.

Babin's Seafood House opened in 2001 and was acquired the following year by Landry's Inc., the Houston-based hospitality company owned by Tilman Fertitta. The Saltgrass Steak House chain was part of the same 2002 acquisition, according to the Landry's corporate website. Babin's operates a second Houston-area restaurant in Shenandoah near The Woodlands.

The Katy location sits just off Interstate 10 in the Mason Park area. According to the restaurant's website, guests are greeted by a fresh fish display at the entrance, where daily selections from the Gulf are prepared to order alongside New Orleans-inspired décor. The restaurant says it received OpenTable's Diners' Choice award for best overall service in 2025.
