An overturned 18-wheeler shut down all eastbound lanes of the Grand Parkway between FM 359 and Bois D'Arc Road in Fulshear on Tuesday morning, Sept. 8.
The Fulshear Police Department posted the closure alert on X at about 11:28 a.m., warning drivers that eastbound lanes were closed and urging them to find alternate routes. Emergency crews were already on scene working to clear the roadway, the department said.
The closure was short-lived. Fulshear police posted an update minutes later, at about 11:32 a.m., confirming the road had reopened as of 11:30 a.m.
The department did not say what caused the truck to overturn. No information about injuries, the truck's cargo or which agencies assisted at the scene was available as of Tuesday afternoon.
