Families heading back to school can pick up free supplies, haircuts, family portraits and health services at the Back to School Bash on Saturday, Aug. 8, at Katy Gardens, 1040 Schlipf Road, according to the Katy Times community calendar.
The event runs from noon to 5 p.m. and is free and open to the community. Christ Clinic, a faith-based nonprofit health center based at the same Schlipf Road address, will provide on-site health services. The clinic serves uninsured and underinsured residents across the Katy and west Houston area regardless of ability to pay.
Food will be provided. Bethel Summit and Worship With Me provide live music.
