The 32nd Katy Sip N Stroll returns to The ARK by Norris on Saturday, Nov. 7. Auction and raffle proceeds from the neon-themed "Let's Glow!" event benefit Christ Clinic, the Katy nonprofit that provides free and low-cost medical care to uninsured residents.

Presented by Kroger, the event runs from 6 to 9 p.m. at 21402 Merchants Way in Katy. More than 35 local restaurants will serve signature bites alongside 300-plus beverages, including over 200 wines, craft beers, premium spirits and emerging drink categories, according to the Katy Times.

Christ Clinic, founded in 2000 as an outreach ministry at Memorial Lutheran Church, serves between 5,000 and 6,000 individuals each year across roughly 20,000 patient encounters, according to the Katy Times. Its Total Care program covers primary care, internal medicine, specialty services and pharmacy for qualifying patients at or below 200% of the federal poverty level. The clinic also offers Express Care appointments for a flat $50 fee with no income requirement.

"Even in a community surrounded by world-class healthcare, many families still fall through the cracks," Executive Director Lara Mautz said. "Support from Katy Sip N Stroll allows us to provide physician visits, diagnostic testing, medications, and ongoing care for neighbors who otherwise might go without treatment."

Guests are encouraged to dress in neon.

A Glow Bar will offer neon body paint, and organizers plan to hand out a Best Neon Costume Award. Live music comes from Shang & Byron, a two-man band known for singalong sets.

Themed areas include a 60-foot Kroger Experience Alley with specialty foods, a Spirits Patio pouring small-batch bourbons and premium tequilas, and a Desserts District. A Carat & Cuvée lounge focuses on Champagne and sparkling wines, and a Backroom Speakeasy serves Prohibition-era cocktails.

General admission tickets start at $65. VIP tickets cost $110 and include early entry at 5 p.m., exclusive lounge seating, passed hors d'oeuvres, a commemorative tasting glass and a swag bag. Tickets are available at sipandstroll.com.

Kroger is also hosting two Sip N Shop preview events at Katy-area stores: Saturday, Oct. 17, at Kroger Marketplace, 2700 West Grand Parkway N.; and Saturday, Oct. 24, at Kroger Marketplace, 1712 Spring Green Blvd. Both feature wine tastings, product demos and a 25% discount on wine purchases of six or more bottles, The Katy News reported.

Coming up: Christ Clinic's annual Breakfast for a Blessing runs 7:30 to 9 a.m. Friday, Nov. 13, at The Katy Gardens, 1040 Schlipf Road. Doors open at 7 a.m.
