Spectators Bar & Grill opened its fourth Houston-area location on Kingsland Boulevard in Katy on Wednesday, Aug. 5, adding a 6,500-square-foot sports bar and family restaurant to the I-10 corridor.

The new spot at 25140 Kingsland Blvd., Suite 1000, seats 275 guests across a full dining room, outdoor patio with a 19-seat bar and private gathering spaces, according to My Neighborhood News. Forty-five televisions are positioned so diners can catch a game from nearly every seat.

Owner Aneal Mohammud, who launched the locally owned brand at its original Sugar Land location on Lake Pointe Parkway, said Katy was a natural fit for expansion.

"Katy has a strong sense of community, making it an ideal place to continue growing the Spectators brand," Mohammud said. "We want to create a neighborhood destination that offers all the excitement of a great sports bar while still feeling comfortable and welcoming for families."

The restaurant joins Spectators locations in Sugar Land, Riverstone and Harvest Green in Richmond, bringing the brand to four total across Fort Bend County and the greater Houston area.

What's on the menu

The kitchen runs deep. The signature dish is the Spectators Famous Prime Beef Cheeseburger, a blend of brisket, chuck and short rib. Other highlights include the Hot Honey Crispy Chicken Sandwich, wings in flavors like Garlic Parmesan and Jalapeño Apricot, and shareable plates such as Texas Twinkies — bacon-wrapped jalapeños filled with Philly cheesesteak.

The full menu extends to pizzas, steaks, seafood and sandwiches. Kids under 12 get a "Little Sluggers" menu with options including chicken tenders, mac and cheese and quesadillas.

The beverage program features more than 60 cocktails, with featured drinks at the Katy location including the Spectator Smash, Spicy Peach Margarita and Maple Bacon Old Fashioned.
